OVCIA Remote and Hybrid Work Policy
Annually all employees are required to complete a Remote and Hybrid Work Agreement found here. Here are a few pieces of information that apply to all OVCIA staff to help with that process:
Instructions
- For approvals, your “Approving Supervisor” is the person you report to, and Alex Schmidt is the “Authorized Department/Unit Administrator.” His NetID is kaschmid.
- Please use a start date of May 5, 2025 and an end date of August 15, 2026.
- You will need to fill out your equipment inventory information in that section of the form again, unfortunately.
- For both the “Work Description” and the “Communications and Feedback” sections, please feel free to use fairly general language such as “all work as required by my current job description” and “all phone, Zoom, or Teams meetings as requested by my supervisor.”
- An example of the form with the OVCIA-wide information filled out and highlighted is available for reference.
Reimbursement Policy
OVCIA has expanded the travel reimbursement policy to include mandatory in-person events such as the bi-annual Town Hall. If you have questions about this update, please connect with Katie Walker at walker74@illinois.edu. View the full policy here.
Spaces and Reservations
Offices
For employees without a permanent office, space can be reserved using the Skedda reservation system on a first come first serve basis at https://illinoisadvancement.skedda.com. Please note, the floor plan is in the process of being updated on this reservation system.
Conference Rooms
To reserve a conference room, create an event in Outlook and under the Location select a conference room by typing any of the following:
- ACAC-Beasley
- ACAC-Radar
- ACAC-Liay
- ACAC-McMillan
Your reservation will either be accepted or denied depending on the availability of that conference room.
Building Access
Access to the Alice Campbell Alumni Center after hours can be granted by swiping your i-card at the side door with access to the stairwell facing the circle drive. Details regarding access to locked individual offices will be shared as they are finalized.
Campus Information
Parking
If you are interested in obtaining a parking permit, please reach out to the campus Parking Department. Note the parking lot for the Alice Campbell Alumni Center is D-22, which is just south of the building. Metered parking is also available in the lot and on nearby streets. Free street parking (no permit required) is available in the neighborhood directly to the north of Green Street and east of Busey Avenue.
