Gifts & Reporting

Reporting

Make sure you are keeping up with the gifts that come in to your crowdfunding campaign so that you can thank your donors and share their impact.

Gifts that come through the Orange & Blue Week crowdfunding pages will have the source code 12028 assigned to them. You can find this designation in your EGAD reports through TED. Please note, this source code will only apply to gifts made online through the Give Campus platform. If your campaign received any “offline” gifts, they will have a different source code.

Offline Gifts

If you receive gifts through any other method than your crowdfunding page (check, cash, a gift made through another website, another method of giving, etc.), but the donor would still like it to be included as part of your crowdfunding campaign, please email Justin Brauer at brauer4@illinois.edu.

  • Subject Line: Offline Gift for [campaign name] for Orange and Blue Week
  • Donor Name(s)
  • Gift $ Amount
  • Designation/Fund
  • Donor Email (if you have it)
  • Optional: Donor Zip Code, so their pin may be included on the Orange & Blue Week homepage maps

NOTE: We can add offline gifts even if you have not yet received them. For example, if a donor calls to let you know they will send a check in the mail and would like it included in your crowdfunding campaign, we will operate on the honor system. Please be aware: any offline gifts will NOT show up as crowdfunding gifts in giving reports through TED.
