Support of Illinois Promise and Illinois Commitment makes the broadest impact on scholarships at the campus level. Scholarship costs will continue to grow as tuition increases and more students qualify, and donor support to these funds will always be critical to keep Illinois accessible to all.

Illinois Promise directly supports the holistic success of students with the greatest financial need via scholarships, and goes beyond tuition, covering living expenses and providing hands-on academic and social support.

Illinois Commitment enables greater access by providing tuition and fees for students across a wider range of financial situations, broadening eligibility to include students with moderate financial constraints.
